The borough office recently changed their office hours; the new hours are 8:00 am until 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday the office will close daily from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm for lunch.

Tax Collector - Mrs. Carol Umbel’s office hours are Wednesday & Thursday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Please note:  Mrs. Umbel is the only one who has access to the tax records so unfortunately the Borough Secretaries are not able to check tax questions you might have, nor are they permitted to accept payments for taxes.

Please bring your used ink cartridges and ink drums to the Borough office instead of throwing them in the trash, we will recycle them.

Attention residents

Gun locks are available at the Borough office free of charge courtesy of the Sheriff’s Department of Westmoreland County.

We are still collecting old cell phones; just bring them to the New Stanton Borough office. The Sheriff’s Department of Westmoreland County is sponsoring this program and will distribute the phones to the elderly for emergency access, please donate your old cell phones to this good cause.

Monthly meetings

Borough Council meetings are the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month @ 7:00 pm
Planning Commission meetings are the 2nd week of the month on Wednesday @ 7:00 pm
